I'm CEO of MOMCO Inc., A Nonprofit Organization; providing an emergency placement home for homeless teen moms, runaway pregnant, unplanned pregnancies, and unwed mothers. An outreach program to neglected, abused, and at-risk, including transitional housing for mothers who have been involved in human trafficking or are a victim of domestic violence. This maternity home is a ministry dedicated to improving their health and developed for those ready to change their lives. I am creating a community where mental health is a top priority for teen moms and also make a big difference in the world for the future, the greater good, and our children.
I was born October 15, 1989, to my parents, Jacqueline Campbell and Barry Crutchfield, in Little Rock, Arkansas's Capital City. I am the fourth child of five children. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit at First Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church at three years old. The spiritual gift I sustained in the church was singing in the youth choir. I competed in track and field, softball, and basketball sports events during junior high school. I was a pregnant teenager while in high school. I didn't have the privilege of resources like MOMCO for help. I struggled to work two jobs to keep a place to live, food, clothes, transportation, etc.; I'm now a mother of three children: Tamaya is 17, Breyanna is 13, and my son Prince is 9.
On April 8, 2022, I joined Holy Matrimony with Erick Holmes Sr, my business partner and best friend. During this lifetime commitment, he introduced me to real estate investment. Adding to my portfolio, I'm also a real estate investor-developer of my company, Fix And Flip Properties Investment Group LLC' and 'MOMCO At The Cattleya Co. LLC.' We provide our funds and buy distressed residential and commercial properties. Also, we develop new real estate properties from the ground up. I gained extensive and sufficient knowledge with six years of experience in our real estate investment firm. I'm a Sophomore at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) studying to earn my Bachelor's in Political Science, Public Affairs, and Law Concentration. May I add, In Recognition of Outstanding Academic Achievement For Making the 'DEAN'S LIST' by maintaining a 3.5 GPA. Although I have experienced a multitude of loss and grief from my dear mother and brother during the last two years while studying for my major, I continue to make my academic studies a priority.
So far, Political Science taught me how to be a better writer. It taught me how to be coherent. It taught me how to turn out good content without overthinking. It forces public speaking; it forces you not to be nervous when placed in front of influential, brilliant people. It taught me how and where to pursue multiple sides of an issue. It taught me how to be fierce, find my voice, and make it good. It taught me to be critical about policies, humanitarian work, and intentions. The analytical skills I learned, and the ability to understand and process theoretical debates have given me a unique approach to finding solutions for problems that arise in my life and at my job. A political science degree is versatile and can be utilized in many fields: the legal field and politics, obviously, but also in the non-profit sector, international relations, education, sales, and business.
Upon graduation, the next step is attending William H. Bowen School of Law to become an attorney. A degree in political science is a great stepping stone to law school. I choose this career because of my desire for justice and my passion for the Law. I'll be able to help businesses and people in need of justice. Also, I'll be able to make a big difference in the world for the future, the greater good, and our children. "Change" starts with the Law. I'm motivated to be a part of "We The People," which has awaited me! I'll be the first to graduate college and the first to attend law school in my family. I will become a Corporate Attorney, own a Law Firm, and accomplish this career in my family.
LET'S GET MORE PERSONAL WITH ME
I love how my husband makes time to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with me each day of the week. We date every day! But on Sunday is family, a date for my entire family. I enjoy the physical world of nature. Spending time in nature generates many positive emotions, such as calmness, joy, and creativity. Fitness activities are one of my favorite things to do throughout the week. I live by the motto, "Health is Wealth." I like to travel into new surroundings and experience adventurous things in life, which reduce stress but also boost happiness that feels rewarding.
